RACE DETAILS: Join us Saturday, April 13th for the Chasing Jefferson Davis Marathon and Half Marathon. The point to point courses will be run on paved and dirt roads. The Full Marathon starts at the Abbeville Historic Gymnasium, 300 College St., Abbeville, GA and the Half Marathon starts at 1018 Salem Church Rd, Fitzgerald, GA. Both races will end at 338 Jeff Davis Park Road, Irwinville GA. Registration begins at 5:00 AM and the race will start with a cannon blast at 6:00 AM for the full marathon and 6:30 AM for the half marathon.

SHIRTS AND INFO: The race is a point to point and runs through the counties of Irwin, Ben Hill and Wilcox. Parking will be available at the start and finish. Shuttle busses will begin running 3 hours after the start of the races. Busses will cease at 2:00 PM. The Marathon is USATF Certified #GA15012WC. AGE GROUPS/AWARDS: Awards for Overall M & F, Masters M & F, and top 3 M & F in each age group: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over. Everyone who finishes the Marathon will get a commemorative medal. T-SHIRTS will be guaranteed to those who register by 4/1/2022. Registrations after that date and on race day will be given shirts while supplies last.

REGISTRATION: Registration Fee = $50 for the Half - $65 for the Full By 4/1/24. $50 and $75 afterward and race day. Early packet pickup and registration will be held on 4/12/24 at Abbeville Historic Gymnasium, 300 College St., Abbeville, GA from 6PM to 8PM. Contact 229-467-2737 for more information.
